Our pet FeFe is also settling down very well in the new place, just look at how she sleeps. I like to watch a sleeping cat, they sleep without a care in the world. Even if the sky were to drop on them the next minute, it does not seems to bother them. I have always longed to have a cat whom I can hug to sleep, it is really nice cos their body temperature is higher than human so hugging them to sleep keeps me warm and the fur feels so nice to touch. Unfortunately none of the cats I have adopted like to sleep with me, they prefer to sleep alone. Humph!

Import and Export Permit
Now that our personal belongings have been packed and ready to be shipped, the next "item" on my list to settle is FeFe. Just came to know that Daddy would need to apply for an "import permit" in West Malaysia for FeFe and once that is settled, I can then apply for an "export permit" in Sarawak. Also, I would need to bring her to the government vet for a health checkup and if she is declared a clean bill of health, I would have to get FeFe on a flight to KL within the next seven days.
Many friends have asked me why don't I just leave FeFe in Kuching, let someone adopt her and save all the hassle and trouble? Indeed, the minor part of me agrees but the major part of me would disagree strongly and silently. FeFe is actually my first "friend" when I came to Kuching. Back in July 2002, I came here to join Daddy without a job and the bachelor's pad Dad rented did not even have Astro (cable TV). I was terribly bored, homesick, suffering from culture shock, etc.. We decided to adopt a kitten from SSPCA to keep me company. That was how FeFe came to join us and I was like her mummy from then on. The amount of fun, joy and company FeFe gave me as a pet during the down period was invaluable. From then on, I promised FeFe to bring her wherever we go. A promise is a promise and I have to keep my word rite?
Actually Daddy and I love cats quite a lot and during the last few years in Kuching, we have tried to save couple more cats. Some were abandoned, wacked on the head, accident victims but sadly most of them did not survive. Thus FeFe has been pretty lonely these years .... hmmmm ... maybe it is time to get her a friend in KL??

More TLC pls ...
We do try our best to show that we still love and care about her, at times, we also wish that she is capable of having her own babies to care and love for.
